I didn´t like krautrock 25 years ago, maybe that´s because I am a kraut. We all listened to Guru Guru, AshRa and Amon Düül, but they weren´t exotic those guys next door. So I must have missed Gila in those days. They had 2 official LPs and now with "Nightworks" we listen to a radioshow of February, 26th 1972. Nealy 50 minutes of genious guitar psych where you ask yourself: "was this really 72? It sounds so fresh like it is picked up only yesterday!". Thanks to Garden of Delight for gigging up the masterpiece of krautrock. You definitly MUST buy this record! Click on "Braintwist" and off it goes. Before, maybe you want to go to your secret place to dig out some fine herbes, since "kraut" doesn´t mean anything else than "herbes". Enjoy!
