Gary Ramon has made this record with Laurence O´toole (acoustic guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Joolie Woods (violin, recorders, keyboards) and Lee Moon (bass, percussion, backing vocals). I´d give "Open your eyes" 5 stars for this wonderful guitars and keyboards and another 5 for the freaky soundscapes on "Acid Test". "Blue Sugar" is a fine last song to bring us back to the other reality we have been looking for. Great songs from a great songwriter and good musicians!

this really is totally brilliant - excellent modern acidrock/psychedelia - Gary Romon is the next best guitarist to Hendrix, and the whole sound and feel is consistently excellent. Really strong songs, trippy lyrics - why are you reading this when you could be out buying it?

Libertine by Sundial. Beggars Banquet 1993. I have a lot of Sundial stuff and some Quad. I like Spiritulaized and Spaceman 3. I like psychedelic and prog, space rock and all sorts. I think the reviews have been duff on this album. It is a little different, but its not bad at all. In fact on my itunes as I rate the songs all have 4 stars if not 5! The songs are tight, some great guitar riffs, hazy wahs wahs and droney lyrics. Its the style, and it wasn´t in vogue then, but it will stand the test of time. May be not as classic as Return Journey or Zen for Sale, Gary Ramon builds a convincing soundscape on this album and I am glad I managed to find a copy!!! Excellent stuff to round out your Sundial collection....

This record isn´t really bad it is just really diffent from the other records. This one is more rave than psychedelic in the classic sense. If you liked the Stone Roses you can get happy with the record.

The only bad album sundial made. Avoid it completely. The rest are ace.

this album is wah-wah overdrive heaven. The band tears it up from start to finish. it starts with their cover of a psyche 60´s song "magic potion" and continues to blast your mind with seven more great songs,"sunstroke" being my favorite because of its slow buildup. This album is in my top 20 favorite psyche records. enjoy!

I bought this album back in 1992 and I have to say that this is simply the best UK neo psychedelic album of all -there´s magic everywhere throughout this album.Sun Dial of this album and the fantastic 'Return Journey',rank amongst the best neo psych there, high up together with 'Word of life´ and Simones.

Cool bought "Other Way Out" in 1990 and cant believe i found this site. Should re-release!
